IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!

It has been a long time since I was able to post into this blog. I had trouble with my passwords and it took several weeks before I was able to get new ones set. Meanwhile, I do not have any writing success to report about. I have not done as much as I should be doing, but I signed up and was approved to write freelance articles online yesterday, so I hope I will be able to get that going.

I get to pick from a long list of titles but will have only seven days to submit a draft which will be reviewed by one of their editors. If is approved I will be paid. If it needs revision, they will inform me of what needs to be changed and if I do the changes and it is then approved, I get paid. If I do not get an article I claimed done in the seven days, it goes back for anyone else to be able to claim. Right now I have to get my bio approved. There were some changes they required me to make.

Tomorrow, I will be one of many people who will be reading a story about a time in my life. I am sharing a testimony about how God let me realize that He loved me when I was not feeling very lovable. There is another lady who is also sharing about her religious upbringing. We had to keep the stories to no more than five minutes.

Today we rehearsed with a storyteller giving us pointers for improvement. She did not have any to tell me and said I did it well. I said that my problem will be that my voice may get shaky with an audience there, but as she said, I will relax more as I tell it. I know last February when we did a similar program, my voice was quivery, at least when I started. It also sounds higher pitched than I hear it when I am speaking.

Anyway, I have to go and eat something so I can get to bed at a decent time and be ready for our big event.
