Today, when I woke up and saw how the trees were being blown by the wind, I knew it would be cold outside. I had nothing pressing to do, so I decided to stay indoors. I planned to work on writing something about the material I told you I made notes on yesterday and maybe do some book reviews. First, though, I began doing my journal, writing ideas I got from the Bible verse and the suggested passage and comments of the devotional book Today. While I was doing that, I got another idea for an essay of a religious nature. I did not immediately start working on it because I thought it would take more time to develop, but I shared the idea with a friend over the phone.
In the afternoon I began to get sleepy and was going to take a nap. I laid down but did not fall asleep. The idea of the morning began going through my mind again, and I knew I would not be able to relax until I wrote something about it, so I got up and began writing. It is almost finished now. I haven’t figured out an ending for it yet. I’ll let you know when I do finish it.
